Build a short rap around one good idea

Updated November 4, 2026

Choose a moment worth describing, turn it into a few spoken bars, then test the rhythm aloud. A written lyric, a recorded song and a template-based AI video are different outputs.

Five decisions before you press record

Name one scene, person or moment you want the listener to picture. Keep the subject narrow enough to describe in a few lines.

Write a rough verse without chasing a perfect rhyme. The thought should make sense before the line sounds clever.

Read to a steady beat and shorten phrases that rush past the rhythm. Your speaking voice is a useful guide.

Choose one short hook that expresses the main idea. Repeat it only where repetition helps the listener follow.

Decide how to present it: record your own voice, keep it as text, or make a separate photo-based template video.

Rhyme should support the picture

Begin with words you would naturally say. End rhymes can tie two lines together; a small internal rhyme can give a line extra movement.

If a rhyme forces a strange sentence, rewrite the sentence. A clear image and a steady rhythm usually land better than an obscure word chosen only for its ending.

Choose rhythm before production detail

Try a beat whose tempo lets you say the verse comfortably. Check that you have permission to record or publish over it.

An ohfru.com video template comes with its existing performance. It is a visual character edit, not a way to turn a lyric draft into a newly recorded track.

Try a short writing exercise

Describe a place using three things someone could see or hear.

Write a thank-you without using the words “thank you”.

Explain a small victory in two lines and finish with a hook.

Turn a shared memory into a scene instead of a list of names.

Questions before you write

Will my draft become the video soundtrack?

No. The writing tool saves text. A template video keeps the performance and audio in its preview.

What should I check before using the words?

Check that the lines are accurate, respectful and yours to share. Edit out private facts and unsupported claims about real people.
