Photo, cast & scene

Your face, the scene and the part AI actually changes

By ohfru.com editorial · Updated November 4, 2026 · 简体中文

A photo-to-video edit starts with a useful question: what should stay the same? On ohfru.com, the template supplies the scene and movement, while your photographs supply the character references. That makes choosing the right scene more useful than writing a long prompt.

Three searches, three different expectations

“AI video face swap” often means replacing the visible identity in an existing scene. A template can also recreate clothing, lighting or expressions while following its source. It may not preserve every pixel of the original performance, and likeness can vary across frames.

“Photo to video” is broader. Some tools animate the background of your photograph; others use a portrait as a reference for a completely different scene. ohfru follows the second approach through its listed templates. Your uploaded bedroom or holiday background does not become the new stage.

“AI lip sync” is a separate audio-led task. Uploading a portrait and writing a lyric does not, by itself, record those words or make the character sing them. The lyric entry on this site is a text workflow; it does not replace a template soundtrack.

Choose the cast before the caption

A solo scene needs one subject. A duo needs a separate photograph for each named role. Human-and-pet scenes ask for different kinds of subjects; sending two human portraits to an animal slot will not turn it into a different type of template.

Use the slot labels beside the upload controls as your final reference. An attractive sample image is not an instruction to upload a group photograph or a matching costume. Start with a clear face and keep the two identities easy to tell apart.

Check sound and cost together

A visual preview and an audio promise are different things. Rap performance templates may carry their existing track; meme scenes marked silent need audio added in a separate editor or publishing app. Always read the label for the scene you chose.

Credit packs are one-time purchases on ohfru. The selected template shows its own cost, so dividing a pack by an assumed universal per-video price can give the wrong answer. The Starter pack contains 50 credits for $6.99; a different scene may need a larger balance.

A practical starting decision

If you want the orange two-person booth, compare the Hotel Lobby scene with the rap studio scene. They have different audio behavior despite a familiar visual setting. If the faces are the problem, use the portrait checklist before changing your idea.

Preview the result at normal speed and pause when the face turns. Look for identity drift, a cropped partner and distracting mouth movement. Publish it as an AI edit, with permission from the adults shown. Live availability is displayed in the generator; a listed example does not mean a scene is currently accepting jobs.

Useful answers

Does ohfru accept any target video?

The public workflow uses the templates listed on this site. This guide does not describe an upload-your-own-target-video feature.

Can a lyric draft become a new soundtrack?

No. Lyric drafts remain text. Use an independently recorded, permitted audio track if you need newly performed words.
